Sunflower season was recently upon us & Jessanna wanted to get out & utilize the beauty of nature to highlight the introduction of her bundle of joy.
Sunflower season in Colorado is in the middle of August and lasts just about 3 weeks with the flowers in full bloom. The best time to enjoy the flowers is towards the beginning of the month when the flowers bloom, preferably photographing during sunset as you get the true “Golden Hour” glow shining on top of the flowers.
Jessanna contacted me early in her pregnancy and mentioned that this was the look that she wanted for her maternity session as this was the theme for her baby. Her & I had not connected in some time but we never lost touch. I was honored by her asking me to take these photographs as we weren’t connected while she was pregnant with her other children, so to get the chance to capture this beautiful moment for her this time around was a true honor & I couldn’t miss out!
Congrats to her and her new bundle of joy! I can’t wait to see baby girl and hopefully we get the chance to connect once she makes her appearance so that we can capture more Sunflowers!
